Point at a wall, get a seamless texture. RipKit straightens any flat surface in a photo, makes it tile, and gives it the look your game needs: clean, PS1-style or pixel art, with a matching normal map.

Try it above with the demo photo: drag the 4 corners, change the settings, watch the tiled preview.

The whole chain in one tool

  • Rip: 4 corners and a magnifier; perspective is removed and every pixel is sampled 2 x 2, so slanted walls and floors come out flat and sharp.
  • Even light: removes the lamp-on-one-side falloff that ruins tiling.
  • Seamless, the smart way: tiles, plates and planks are cropped to whole pattern repeats with no blending at all; everything else is cut along the seam where both sides match best, so no blurry ghost bricks. RipKit measures its own result and tells you when the seam is still visible, instead of hiding it.
  • Retro look: pixel size 32/64/128, auto palettes, PS1 15-bit colour, Game Boy, PICO-8, ordered or diffusion dithering.
  • Normal map: tileable, OpenGL (Godot, Blender) or DirectX (Unity, Unreal).
  • Runs in the browser, also offline: one HTML file, any OS, no install, nothing uploaded.

Free web version vs download

  • Free (above): everything, up to 256 px, texture PNG export.
  • Download: up to 2048 px, normal map export, zip export, works offline.

What you get

  • RipKit.html (the full app), README, changelog, license.
  • An example: a wall ripped from the demo photo at 512 px with its normal map.

Tested

  • An automated browser test clicks every export (texture PNG, normal map, zip) in both editions and checks the downloaded files: sizes, palettes, a seamless edge, a valid zip.
  • Tested in Brave (Chromium) on macOS; Chrome and Edge use the same engine. One HTML file, works offline.

Limits
